My name is David, I’m from Russia. I’m 28 years old and I’ve been passionate about creativity most of my life.
At first, things didn’t go well with art. I had to work hard, so I couldn’t paint a lot. I’ve had all kinds of work: doing renovations, cementing at construction sites, then working as a photographer and videographer. And all this time I was convinced that painting was just a hobby, I didn’t think about the art profession. But I always had a notebook and a pencil with me, so I could draw any spare minute. To be honest, I don’t even remember how I learned to draw, it feels like I always knew how, I just drew better and better over time. My family didn’t take my passion very well, they didn’t think it was serious, and so did I.
But things changed dramatically after I met my wife. She’s been inspiring me for 3 years in a row and has made it clear that art is life itself, not just a hobby. She always said that I should be an artist, that it was my destiny in life. So, we started to create. We painted pictures to order, painted walls in different places. Of course, things didn’t always go smoothly in our lives, but we didn’t give up.
When the NFT world opened up to me, I realized it was the perfect environment for me. It’s a place where I can talk about my thoughts and experiences, and people will appreciate it.
I was almost broke, so I quickly sold my Playstation to make my first NFT art, and it was a right decision. Now I’m here in front of you. I’m very grateful to all the people who support me, I’m infinitely happy with the opportunity to create, and I’ll try to improve every day, because that’s what I live for.
Through my work, I speak of the subjects that excite me, mainly the theme of past, present and future. The characters I draw often show elements of the past and the future at the same time. People are always unhappy with themselves and constantly want to change something. I show this thought through the artificially modified bodies of my characters, and, of course, almost all of my characters are inspired by the image of my wife. I already have a lot of ideas, and I can't wait to share them with you.
